I'd like to thank you for the wonderful drum making course
that I recently attended. It was such a thrill to make my
own drum. I loved the way you paced us through the experience
- which included selecting a drum shell that best matched
our own energy, selecting the drum skin, stringing the drum
and smoothly putting it all together. From the way that you
supported me in doing most of the work on the drum, I was
able to take home a drum that truly felt my own. Thank you
for such a special experience.
I would also like to thank you for teaching the beginners
drumming course. I do find you a wonderful teacher and feel
that you have a special energy about you. Your enthusiasm
and commitment to drumming is inspiring. I particularly love
the way that, if we're struggling to get all the right hand
placements, you keep encouraging us to focus on feeling and
playing the rhythm. It is such fun and I hope to keep drumming
